Ministry Development

Brother Joe has asked that all of the ministries of TCF be revamped.  This effort is meant to put each ministry on a solid footing in several areas: 1. vision, 2. organization, 3. Policy & Procedures, and 4. Quality and Effectiveness evaluation. 

These slides were used to introduce the Ministry Development initiative to the ministry leaders.  At that meeting appropriate documents were distributed to the each leader.  There are three levels of documents that have been prepared based on the scope of ministry, red, yellow, and green.  Red is a coordinating or over-arching ministry.  Yellow is a limited scope ministry.  Green is an event oriented ministry. 

If you are wanting to begin a new ministry in TCF you should study the Ministry Map and determine which of the Red level ministries it would fall.  Then contact that leader for help in beginning to put the ministry together. Yellow and Green Ministry Development Documents can be printed from the web site.

The document may seem imposing at first glance, but it is designed to help guide you though times of prayer and critical thinking that is necessary to “build wisely” as the Apostle Paul might say.
